We live in a time of rapidly evolving financial landscapes and technological innovation, and in these times, the power of collaboration and knowledge exchange cannot be overstated. As financial systems become more interconnected and data-driven, we feel the case for a dedicated community of Open Finance technologists, product owners, and enthusiasts is stronger than ever.
To that end, we're thrilled to announce the creation of the Open Finance Developers Group (OFDG), a meet-up group that fosters innovation, communication and connection in the Open Finance and Open Banking communities.

While digital communication has connected us globally, there is an irreplaceable energy that arises from face-to-face interactions. To that end, we're going to start off running in-person events centred around London so that we can all get to know each other and enjoy the sense of togetherness which recent history has made hard to foster.
We feel these in-person meet-ups provide a fresh opportunity for like-minded individuals to come together, learn, share their knowledge, experiences, and ideas in real-time - and, at the very least, take a break from Zoom calls!
We plan to organise regular meet-ups focusing on the Open Finance and Open Banking technologies of the day. By hosting regular meet-ups, we hope the OFDG will bring together industry experts, developers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to create a thriving ecosystem of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Who is this for?
You! But who are you? Well, it's early days yet, and the whole point of a community is that it becomes what it’s made up of - its members. To start off with, we'll be creating events targeted at Open Finance/Banking developers and product owners, so that they might come together and share in the nitty-gritty of building at the bleeding-edge of financial technologies.
But, as times change, so too do communities, so we'll always be listening to what you would like to hear about and talk about. If we can make that happen, we will - and if you want to be the one talking about something you've been working on, let us know! We love when attendees become speakers.

Together, we will celebrate successes, overcome obstacles, and foster a culture of inclusivity and support.
